Dhingu Mata Temple is located at Sanjauli around 10 kms from Shimla town center, Himachal Pradesh. A winding flight of pink stairs ascends to the Dhingu Mata temple.
History Of Dhingu Mata Temple
It is said that once a goddess appeared in a dream of a local Raja Dhingu, and expressed a wish to be enshrined in a temple built by him. The king got this beautiful temple built.
The temple complex has two smaller shrines, one with a large Shivling in it and another with a Devi murti.
Sanjauli is a suburb of Shimla town.
