Adi Brahma temple at Khokhan is located around 12 km from Kullu town in Himachal Pradesh. The shrine is a rare temple to Brahma, the god of creation in Hinduism. The current temple is dated to the mid 18th century though scholars have speculated that a temple of greater antiquity may have once stood here.
A mohra of God Brahma is worshipped in the sanctum sanctorum. There is also a chariot, on which are arranged about twelve more brass and silver mohras.
Built with wood in the pagoda style, the four roofs of Adi Brahma temple are covered with slated and supported by carved, load-bearing struts.
The wooden doorway is elaborately ornamented with scenes from the Puranas.
A storehouse in the compound has several sculptures including one of Brahmani, the consort of Brahma.
