Kottapuram Shiva temple is located at Kottapuram village in Thrissur district, Kerala. The shrine is located around 3 km west of Thrissur town. The temple is one among the 108 Shiva temples in Kerala. The Prathishta in the temple was performed by Parashurama.
The main Shivling in the sanctum sanctorum faces east. The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Ganapathi and Sastha.
Large scale renovation was taken up in the temple in recent years.
The main festivals observed in the temple are Mahashivratri and Mandala Makaravilakku kalam.
