Nag Devta temple is located at Sangla, around 18 kms from Karcham, in Kinnaur – Himachal Pradesh. The shrine is dedicated to Nag – snake or serpent worship. Such temples are very popular in most regions of Himachal Pradesh.
Sangla Nag Devta temple is a steep walk down from the main bazaar. The temple is set on a platform of stones and has exquisite pillars, which are intricately carved. The roof is tiled with state.
The temple was renovated around 15 years ago.
Sangla, in the Bapa valley, is acknowledged to be its most pleasing spot with vast plain land , plenty of green vegetation, a lot of fish in the river.
