Aduvathu Mahavishnu temple is located at Thavinhal in Wayanad district, Kerala. The temple is a typical small Kerala shrine and is located under a huge peepal tree. The popular belief is that the Mahavishnu murti worshipped in the temple belong to Banasura.
The Upa Devatas worshiped in the temple are Jaladurga, Ayyappa, Rakshas and Ganapati.
The temple belongs to Thavinhal family.
