Sri Karthyayani temple is located at Anthikad in Thrissur district, Kerala. The main deity worshipped in the temple is the Karthyayani form of Goddess Durga. The temple is one among the 108 Durga temples in Kerala.
The murti of Bhagavathi Karthyayani is swayambhu. It is also stated that the murti in the temple was brought by Pulinthara Ilayathu from Mookambika temple.
The temple takes part in the Arattupuzha Pooram.
The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Ayyappa, Ganapathi and Shiva. A murti of Shoolini Devi is also worshipped in the temple. The murti was of Navadara Illam, who are the poojaris of the temple.
The temple was the family temple of Puliyanthara Ilayathu, Karipalli Nambiar, Kuruppamedu Kuruppu and Nallathu Kurup.
The temple existed before 734 Kolla Varsham as there is writing on the stone on Mukha Mandapam about a Kalasham ritual in kollavarsham 734.
