Kandanchira Maha Vishnu temple is located at Eranellor in Choondal Village on Kunnamkulam – Thrissur road in Thrissur district, Kerala. The main deity worshipped in the temple is Narasimha Avatar of Bhagwan Vishnu.
The small temple has no Upa Devatas or subsidiary deities.

The temple is under the management of Cochin Devaswom Board.
Narasimha is a fierce avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, one who incarnates in the form of part lion and part man to destroy evil and end religious persecution. Temples dedicated to Ugra Narasimha form of Vishnu are very rare.
Narasimha is the The fourth avatar of Vishnu. Bhagavan appeared as a half-man-half-lion to eliminate an Asura king named Hiranyakashipu and save Prahlada.
