Oditta Koottala Temple is located around 2 kms from Thiruvilwamala in Thrissur district, Kerala. The temple is believed to be the Moolasthanam of famous Vilwadrinatha temple in Thiruvilwamala.
The temple is a very rare temple which faces west. It is believed that the shrine is the only shrine in Kerala where Vishnu faces west.
The main deity is Bhagavan Vishnu. The Upa Devata is Ganapathi. Another subsidiary deity worshipped in the temple is Kolakkattiri Ayyappa.
