Ongallur Thali temple is located at Ongallur village on Pattambi – Shoranur road in Palakkad district, Kerala. This temple is one among the Thali temples in ancient Kerala. The main deity worshipped in the temple is Shiva.
The Shivling in the temple has a big girth when considering other Shivlings.
The sreekovil in the temple is three tiered and it faces east.
The main Upa Devtas or subsidiary deities worshipped in the temple are Ayyappa, Dakshinamurti, Ganapati and Ashtami Thevar (Shiva).
The temple belonged to the following manas – Placheri Thamanur, Palakkad, Karuthedath, Erandapurathukadu, Mullappally and Perumanallur.
Ashtami Varam ritual was held in the temple in ancient times.
