Kumbalam Thrikkovu Mahadeva temple is located at Kumbalam in Kochi – Ernakulam district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Shiva. The annual Maha Shivratri festival in Kumbha Masam (February – March) is of great significance here.
This is a very rare temple in which a Shivling and Murti of Shiva is worshipped together. The Shivling in the temple is swayambhu.
The annual festival in the temple is famous for melam, ezhuhellippu and panchavadyam. Along with temple folk art forms, the temple concentrates on various pujas and rituals performed in Shiva temples in Kerala.
The temple has chuttambalam, namaskara mandapam, shrines of upa devatas and kodimaram (flag post).
